We are thrilled to announce the approval of \u201cBioTransform\u201d, a Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network project titled:
“Mapping the Uncharted Human Metabolism for Novel Food Bioactives.”<\/p>\n

This groundbreaking initiative focuses on understanding the metabolism of food bioactives and their impact on human health. Coordinated by the University of Antwerp (Prof. Nina Hermans), BioTransform brings together 9 universities and 7 partners to explore how food bioactives (FB) are metabolized by the gut microbiome.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd0d Through cutting-edge approaches such as human pilot studies, in vitro and in silico models, microbiome sequencing, metabolite synthesis, and metabolomics, several PhD projects will address this exciting challenge.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udca1 Beyond advancing scientific knowledge, BioTransform also aims to train the next generation of interdisciplinary researchers in food and health sciences.<\/p>\n
